We have put together a small library of information gathered in one place regarding services and help for residents living with Dementia.

Play list for Life. It is proven that music helps people living with dementia and we are now a member of the Help Point Network for the playlist for life charity and will have some hard copy leaflets and soundtrack of your life workbooks available at the office in the coming weeks. Dementia Friendly Films in Derbyshire Arts Derbyshire ran the Matinee Derbyshire Dementia Friendly Films programme and have now produced a workbook for residents living with Dementia. Looking for information or advice about dementia or Alzheimer’s? Call our Dementia Helpline for free on 0800 888 6678 for support from our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses. The Helpline is open from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday to Sunday.
Our Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline is one of the ways in which we are trying to reach out to people who live in the areas where there are no Admiral Nurses available.
The Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline is currently open –
Monday to Friday - 9.00 am to 9.00 pm.
Saturday, Sunday & all Bank Holidays (except for 25th December) - 9.00am to 5.00 pm.
