Annual Parish Meeting

What is the Annual Parish Meeting?

All parishes, whether or not they have a parish council, hold a meeting once a year to discuss the affairs of the parish.  It is an opportunity for the Parish Council to report on what it's been up to during the year, for borough and county councillors and village organisations to make presentations, and for villagers to raise any concerns they may have.

When and Where is it Held?

The Annual Parish Meeting is normally held in the Methodist Church Hall, Blind Lane Breaston and can be held between 1st March and 1st June each year.

Since May 2022 the meeting has been a more hands on information led event with displays and opportunities for residents to give feedback on issues in the village.
