NEWS FROM SEVERN TRENT

Just a quick note to let you know that we’re carrying out some remedial work on Sawley Road in the new year. For one week, from 15 January 2026, we’ll be working under traffic lights to pop back and fix a couple of items including loose manhole covers. This work will take place in the section near Orchid Wood car park and we’ve written to nearby residents to let them know.

 

You may have also seen us working recently in the same area when our contract partners, McAndrews, carried out some work to clear out the brook that runs alongside the road. That’s all done and flowing nicely again.
